    Alivia Tagliaferri

    Writer & Composer

    Alivia Tagliaferri is an author, filmmaker, playwright, and entrepreneur whose storytelling explores resilience, healing, and the power of community.

    She is the creator of STOA: A New Musical Journey, an original family-friendly musical inspired by her son and developed in collaboration with director Jared Whitford and musical director Sarah Keely Decker.

    Alivia is also the author of the novel Beyond the Wall: The Journey Home, recognized by the mental health and veteran community for its honest portrayal of healing after war.

    Her documentary work—including Profiles in Service: It Takes a Nation, Remember. Honor. Ride., Beyond the Wall: Homeless Zone, and Power of One—has anchored discussions at The National Archives, been featured in film festivals, and broadcast on public television stations.

    She is the third-generation owner of Tag’s Take Out, a beloved Williamsport eatery known for bringing people together through food and story.

    Jared Whitford

    Producer, Director & Designer (Additional Material)

    Jared Whitford is a multifaceted theater artist whose artistic versatility spans directing, design, and performance.

    A respected figure in the regional arts community, Jared is the Communications & Development Director at the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble. He also serves as Director of Theater for the South Williamsport Area School District and was the Founder and Artistic Director of Studio 570.

    Throughout his career, Jared has collaborated with organizations such as Millbrook Playhouse, the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra, Interlakes Summer Theatre, and the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, among others. He also serves on Governor Josh Shapiro’s Advisory Commission on LGBTQ Affairs.

    Sarah Keely Decker

    Music Director & Co-Composer (Additional Music and Lyrics)

    Sarah Keely Decker is a performer, music educator, and future music therapist based in Williamsport, PA.

    In serving the local arts community for over twenty years in her hometown, Sarah’s passion for music and service has flourished. She has graced the stages of the Community Arts Center, the Community Theatre League, and Lycoming College in a variety of symphony concerts and theatrical productions, and has music-directed a range of theater and musical camps and shows throughout the region.

    Currently, Sarah maintains a thriving private voice studio, teaches as adjunct voice faculty in the Lycoming College music department, and is pursuing certification in music therapy.

    She is a devoted mother to two vibrant, multi-talented children and has shared over 20 years of marriage with her husband. Sarah brings joy, heart, and intentional musicality to everything she does—believing firmly in the transformative power of music and community.
