What is STOA: A New Musical Journey about?

This original children’s musical follows the journey of STOA, an older black bear known as the den mother of the forest. She guides young animals, teaching them the wisdom of the trees and the soul songs gifted by Mother Tree.

When STOA becomes a mother herself, she discovers that she has just as much to learn as she has to teach — about love, friendship, our true nature, and what it truly means to connect. At its heart, STOA is a warm and hopeful story about the strength of love and community.

Who is STOA for?

STOA is designed for children, parents, grandparents, caregivers, teachers, nature-lovers — and for anyone who finds joy and inspiration in a good story.

A truly family-friendly and multigenerational experience, STOA blends music, narrative, and the beauty of the natural world into a production filled with warmth and wonder.

Whether you’re bringing little ones, students, or friends, STOA offers something heartfelt and meaningful for everyone.

Who created STOA?
